This is barkcloth drapery fabric printed with a floral pattern - the selvedge reads “Design Wingate A Tower Vat Print Preshrunk”

Side:  35” long from neck seam to hemline

but I removed this when looking for a makers mark - there still is a bit of felt residue

staining - there is some slight soiling or discolouration to the lining at the bottom opening that I haven’t tried to address (see photo)

Although made more recently, the jacket appears to take inspiration from the Swinging 60s, very much like something that Austin Powers would have worn. It is made in a checked black wool with a military type collar and lapel and an eight covered button double breasted front.
